We recruit people
to support people.

More than availability

A qualification tells you part of the story. People tell you the rest.

Checks and qualifications matter. So do compassion, professional communication and the way someone fits your service. We consider both.

Role & setting

The service, duties and environment matter.

Experience & competence

Relevant experience, skills and preparation.

Communication

Clear, professional and respectful.

Compassion & empathy

How people approach those they support.

Availability

When and where someone can work.

Your requirements

Specific needs of the service and role.

Familiar people. Stronger relationships.

Continuity is part of the plan.

Where possible, candidates work across a small number of services, building relationships and learning your routines.

We plan regular cover around your preferences, suitability and availability.

Practical answers

Questions before you book?

Can we have the same workers regularly?

Continuity is part of our approach. Where possible, candidates work across a small number of client services so they can build relationships and learn routines. Tell your consultant who works well with your team; regular cover depends on suitability and availability.

What happens if we give negative feedback?

We record and review the concern before considering further placements. Sending someone to another client is not a substitute for addressing feedback. The response depends on the circumstances, and we keep you informed about the follow-up.

How do you assess communication?

Clear English communication is an expected part of suitability for the role. We consider how someone communicates alongside their experience, competence and approach to the people they support. Tell us about any specific communication requirements in your service.

What checks happen before someone is supplied?

Our process covers identity, Right to Work, work history, references, interview, training and competence, plus PVG and professional registration where applicable. Compliance sign-off and ongoing monitoring support placement decisions. See our safer recruitment process for more detail.

Can you help with urgent cover or planned bookings?

We can discuss sickness cover, nights, weekends, planned absence, vacancies and ongoing requirements. For time-sensitive cover, call 0141 212 6565. We will discuss the requirement and available options; we do not guarantee that every request can be filled.

What information should we provide?

Tell us the role, service type, location, dates, shift times, duties and any essential experience or competencies. Please do not email confidential care records or personal details about people receiving care.

Who do we contact once a booking is made?

Your named consultant is your usual point of contact, supported by recruitment, compliance and bookings colleagues. Call our team for urgent changes and out-of-hours support.

We have never used agency staff. How does it work?

Start with a conversation about your service and the cover you need. We explain the checks, candidate information, booking arrangements and who to contact. You can ask questions before deciding how to proceed.
