Access and inclusion

Accessibility Statement

We want everyone to be able to use The Nursing Partnership website, regardless of disability, technology or how they access the web.

This statement explains our accessibility aims, the limits of our current testing and how to get help accessing our information or services.

Last reviewed: 30 September 2026

Our accessibility commitment

The Nursing Partnership is a specialist trading name of The Social Care Community Partnership Ltd, company number SC370614. We want our digital information and services to be usable by disabled people and will consider requests for help and reasonable adjustments.

Our accessibility standard

We aim to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA and continue to review and improve the accessibility of the website.

We have not completed a full assessment against every applicable WCAG criterion. This statement is not a claim of full conformance or formal certification.

Using the website

Our aim is for you to be able to do the following. Sample checks have been carried out, but they do not establish that every page and feature works with every device or assistive technology.

  • Read and resize

Read clear text and enlarge it without losing information or functionality.

  • Use a keyboard

Reach links, menus, buttons and forms without needing a mouse.

  • Navigate clearly

Use meaningful headings, labels and links with assistive technology.

Keyboard and assistive technology

We aim to provide visible keyboard focus and interactive controls that do not depend on hovering. Sampled checks covered navigation menus, a team profile, contact routing and regional selection.

We use headings, labels and link text to support navigation. Meaningful images should have useful alternative text; decorative images should not add unnecessary screen-reader announcements. Our checks of markup do not replace testing with a screen reader.

Your browser, device or operating system may include accessibility settings such as text resizing, zoom, screen reading, voice control and contrast options.

Forms and third-party services

We aim to make contact forms and interactive routing controls understandable and usable with a keyboard, including clear labels, required-field information and helpful error messages.

Some functions use services hosted or provided by other organisations, including IQX registration and the client/candidate portal, app stores and embedded maps. We may not control every aspect of their accessibility, but please tell us if you encounter a barrier so we can consider how to help.

You can use the written office address and contact details without using the embedded map. If an online form or service is difficult to use, email or telephone us to discuss another way to access the information or support you need.

Documents and alternative formats

Where we publish downloadable documents, we aim to make them accessible. If you cannot access a document, contact us and we will try to provide the information in another suitable format.

Need information in another format?

Tell us which information you need and what would help, such as larger text, an accessible electronic format or assistance accessing online information. We will consider the most appropriate way to help.

Known issues and testing limits

  • Heading structure: the homepage currently has more than one top-level heading. This has been identified for review to make the page structure clearer for people navigating by headings.
  • Third-party services and documents: we have not verified all portal, registration, map, app-store or downloadable-document journeys. Some users may encounter barriers. Please contact us if you need help.
  • Assistive technology and form errors: full screen-reader testing and end-to-end form validation testing remain outstanding. The checks below should not be read as assurance that every interaction is accessible.

We continue to monitor the website and may identify further accessibility improvements as content and functionality change. Reported barriers will be considered for investigation and improvement.

How this statement was reviewed

On 30 September 2026, a limited review sampled the homepage, Contact, Meet the Team, Find Staff and Work With Us pages. Checks included headings, image alternative-text attributes, form labels, duplicate identifiers and selected keyboard interactions.

The replacement accessibility page was also checked for responsive reflow, keyboard navigation and text/background contrast. These were internal spot checks, not an external audit, disability-user study or complete WCAG assessment.

Tell us about an accessibility problem

If you find something on this website difficult to use or access, please tell us. Include the page address and what went wrong. If you are comfortable doing so, tell us which device, browser or assistive technology you were using. You do not need to disclose a medical condition.
